About this quartzite
Properties
A metamorphic rock made almost entirely of quartz. Very hard (around 7 on the Mohs scale), it resists scratches and heat well.
Recommended uses
Kitchen countertops, islands, bathrooms, high-traffic floors and outdoors.
Care
Very low-maintenance: neutral soap and occasional sealing.
